SSI Certified Training is a comprehensive training program designed by SSI for its ShipConstructor and EnterprisePlatform software. For consistency, the training has been standardized for use around the world by our Certified Instructors. All training is hands-on in SSI’s Training Project and consists of completing realistic activities and exercises directly related to ship design and engineering.
Certifications may be earned for various levels of proficiency and then used as evidence of competency. By completing a combination of Core and Elective classes, you can become an SSI Certified User or an SSI Certified Professional. You will also receive a registered certificate for every class you complete.
Courses are pre-selected bundles of Core classes with several Elective classes and offer three levels of Professional Certification:
- SSI Certified User: Successfully completed any single Class
- SSI Certified Professional: Successfully completed ALL Core Classes + 2 Elective classes in Hull & Structure or Outfitting
- SSI Certified Specialist: Successfully completed ALL Core Classes + ALL Elective classes in Hull & Structure or Outfitting
