Welcome to ShipConstructor Project Zero!

What is Project Zero

ShipConstructor Project Zero is a series of PDF lessons with accompanying narrated videos that will take you from 2D line drawings through the 3D modeling process – you won’t be starting with a pre-made project, you’ll be starting a new project from zero.

Who Project Zero is for

We’ve designed the materials to help novice ShipConstructor users, such as new clients and new-hires, to get up to speed with ShipConstructor functionality.

What you will accomplish

At the end of the project, you’ll have successfully modeled a 5-meter aluminum craft and have that 3D model ready to be shared with anyone on their phone, tablet, laptop or personal computer– they don’t even need to have AutoCAD or ShipConstructor installed on their devices!

There is no certification for Project Zero at this time – Your finished project is proof that you have successfully completed your work!

When you can get it

  • There are 10 parts to Project Zero – this means 10 PDFs and 10 accompanying videos.
  • Each part will probably take you less than 3 hours to complete.

Who can get it

  • Existing SSI clients and users who have an active subscription.
  • New SSI clients and users who have an active subscription, or are under an active pilot trial.
