We recently brought some of our shipbuilding partners together for a lively discussion around the value of seamless integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shipbuilders came along and asked some brilliant questions of our panel, including \u201cwhat have been the largest business <\/strong>impacts for shipbuilders who have embraced the platform of platforms<\/a> strategy?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We reminisced of the days when monolithic platforms claimed to simplify the shipbuilding ecosystem, but the clear takeaway was the need for solutions that are shipbuilding specific, give the entire organization a single source of truth, and easily connect with every other platform already in place within the shipyard. Jean-Marc Le Roux of Aerys added \u201ceverything should be collaboration centric\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
