Any changes to the column&#8217;s order, width and visibility are now persisted between ShipConstructor sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clash checking now allows the user to see whether the clashing piece of a part is a solid, insulation, or an equipment envelope. This information is shown through a newly added column. Based on this information and clashing part type, ShipConstructor will show whether a clash is Hard\/Soft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re happy to say that the idea behind this improvement came from a highly voted issue suggested on our Nexus Wishlist by a current client.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<span class=\"anchor\" id=\"plate-nests\"><\/span>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-gold-tips-color has-text-color\" id=\"locking\">Lock and Configuration Control Plate Nests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:30%\">\n<p>Production planners can now control the change of nested plate parts. Now, marklines for weld paths can be automatically added from within the model drawings. Weld marklines in ShipConstructor streamline the production workflow where manual effort is currently required to measure and mark weld location and weld standard for each weld. Automatically adding the weld mark lines on plate parts from within ShipConstructor reduces the chance of human error in the process.
