The SSI ShipConstructor 2022 release includes feature updates that allow for enhanced control and management of your ShipConstructor project at every stage of the design process.

Our focus at SSI is to provide our users with solutions directly related to the projects and challenges they face while modeling in real time. Your suggestions and requests made using the SSI Nexus Wishlist inspire many of our release feature initiatives.

In this release these include:

  • Improved efficiency and user experience with the ability to collapse and expand the tree lists from within the Product Hierarchy Assembly picking palette
  • For those who work on multiple projects at a time, we now provide the option to display and toggle the project or database name in the AutoCAD title bar
  • For Production drawings, we now support the ability to Label and group Production drawings using keywords as User Defined Attributes

Change management controls including improvements to volume and drawing locking features, the ability to add UDA Keywords to Production drawings and the ability to load product hierarchies using WorkShare Teams mean better control and even greater efficiencies for all users and project stakeholders. In addition, the SSI Desktop App is now included in the ShipConstructor Installer.
