SSI, developer of shipbuilding software solutions, is planning to capitalize on the resurgence of Turkish shipbuilding. SSI is excited to announce it has contracted Entech & Semar to be an Authorized Reseller of SSI’s ShipConstructor and EnterprisePlatform software.

Entech & Semar pride themselves on providing an “extreme range” of ship services and engineering solutions. They offer everything from ship machinery and spare part sales to maintenance services and sophisticated engineering. Selling and supporting SSI software will be an additional benefit they can offer to clients.

Such a diversity of offerings fits with the diverse nature of Turkish shipbuilding. Rather than specializing in series production, Turkish shipyards tend to focus on flexibility; building and repairing everything from large vessels to workboats, bulk carriers, semi-submersibles, drill-ships and other types of ships.
This strategy has been successful. As a result, Turkey regularly places in the top 10 countries in the world in terms of deadweight production, and sometimes higher in terms of the number of ships being launched.

SSI is excited to now have Entech & Semar as part of the SSI reseller network.
