Excel Queries Enhance Quality

This allows Genoa to make better decisions using always up-to-date information. By creating a live link to the ShipConstructor Marine Information Model (MIM), Genoa is now able to apply the power of Excel to quickly and clearly identify any issues with their projects. For instance, one application is that when clients specify that parts be named via a specific naming convention, it is now far easier for Genoa to check this by running an Excel query, rather than by using a labor intensive system of manual checks. The new process therefore leads to higher quality output with significantly less effort.
