Austal USA in Mobile, Alabama used ShipConstructor to design a new class of combat ship for the US Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program.  The aluminum trimaran will be a key element of the Navy’s efforts to handle submarines, mines and surface threats in the 21st century.
