The newly added WorkView feature in ShipConstructor 2024 , allows users to define a Workspace within a drawing to create the PartViews to visualize the 3D model for a defined area. As partviews provide context and spatial relationships between parts within the location where the user is working, having the ability to modify this WorkView quickly and easily as progress is made, ensures the user can focus on the task at hand by simply readjusting the WorkView extents using various grip points.

The PartViews within the newly defined WorkView area can then be updated with a click of a button without having to remove, define and regenerate the PartViews for each new location being worked on using external dialogs.
