Following the suggestions made in the Nexus Wishlist, SSI has now included the new “Plate to Plate Markline” feature with the SSI ShipConstructor 2021 release, allowing users to reduce plate marking errors, but also speeds up the marking process.
ShipConstructor now allows you to add marklines from one plate to another automatically using the contact path so that you can quickly and easily mark plates at the exact location they need to be placed at for welding, and are no longer required to add the marklines manually. ​
