Over the past 4 months we have been thrilled by the response our novice training program, Project Zero, has had. It has been fantastic to hear the feedback from those who had previously been looking for a way for themselves or a novice on their team to get started with shipbuilding software and ShipConstructor.
With 10 self-guided sections, we saw that it was easy for someone with no previous exposure to progress through the course and end up with a finished project they could refer to and a solid foundation of understanding they can then build on top of with practical experience.
So far, it looks like we’ve been successful at meeting our goals of:
- Introducing novice users to ShipConstructor through a simple project with concrete milestones in quick, concise stages.
- Aligning the onboarding needs of the new hire, their team, and the organization as a whole.
- Showing the power and ease of use of ShipConstructor by going from 2D line drawings to a 3D model.
If you still haven’t had a chance to check out Project Zero, you can learn more about it here.
If you are one of the several hundred that has gotten started with Project Zero but has not yet let us know what you think, make sure to give us your thoughts on the course in the comments below or by contacting us.
