SSI, developer of ShipConstructor and EnterprisePlatform software, will be highlighting its new innovative and flexible certified ship design software training programs at the SNAME Maritime Convention, November 1-5, 2016 in Bellevue, Washington.
Flexible Delivery Options
“These Autodesk and ShipConstructor software training options can be configured for everyone involved in the naval architecture and marine engineering industry,” says SSI Director of Sales and Marketing Michael Viala. “Clients understand the need for training but the practical realities of taking time away from busy production schedules have always been a challenge. Now, we have flexible, as-and-when, on-the-fly, anytime, anywhere, alternatives. The flexibility is almost unlimited. Students, academics, individuals and organizations can now tailor training specifically to their needs.”
Whether it is someone hoping to get a job or advance their career, or a company wanting to increase staff productivity via a structured program, or even a college wishing to supplement their instructional materials, SSI has comprehensive Autodesk and ShipConstructor training resources and curricula to meet every need.
Proving Proficiency
Taking training is becoming increasingly important as a way for job seekers and companies to stand out in today’s marketplace. SSI’s Autodesk based ShipConstructor software is the de facto CAD/CAM shipbuilding software standard in the United States and shipbuilders are increasingly adopting SSI’s EnterprisePlatform software to leverage their engineering data. Since the recent launch of SSI’s certified ShipConstructor training program and the launch of SSI’s CADLearning for Autodesk products, companies have begun to make training a requirement for hiring and advancement. A good example was the almost overwhelming participation in a certified training session at SSI’s recent AMERICAS User Conference; the class size had to be expanded and an extra day added to accommodate the 83 participants.
